We only select a few clients each month to ensure we can provide the best possible service, and we will let you know within a few days if your application has been successful.
How do I know if I’ve been selected for a free build?
Because we limit our work to 10 free builds per month, we review every application to ensure we can provide the best possible service. If your business is a good fit and we have a slot available, we will send you a "Getting Started" link to officially kick off the process.
When do I start paying the £20 monthly hosting fee?
We collect your payment details during the onboarding phase to secure your spot in our schedule. However, no payment is taken upfront. You will only be charged the first £20 hosting fee once your 3-page website is fully built and ready for launch.
What if I don't have a domain name yet?
If you need to buy a new domain, we will send you a link to our preferred registrar. Please be aware that this is an affiliate link, meaning we receive a small commission from the registrar at no extra cost to you. This is another small way we keep our build services free for local businesses.
What if I already have a domain name?
No problem! If you already own a domain (e.g., yourbusiness.co.uk), we will provide you with simple, step-by-step instructions on how to point it toward our managed Cloudways hosting.
Who owns the website once it's finished?
You do. The website is 100% your property. However, to cover the cost of the free design and build, we require that the site remains hosted with us for the first 12 months. After this initial year, you are free to move the website to another provider if you choose. If you decide to move, we can help with the migration and provide the necessary files to ensure a smooth transition.
Can I update the website myself once it's built?
Yes, absolutely! You will have full access to your website so you can make text and image edits whenever you like. To give you peace of mind, we provide a short tutorial video that shows you exactly how to make these changes using Divi without "breaking" the design.
What types of businesses do you build for?
